New Skin

I think I need to find time to change the skin of my blog. I still remember I used to own a blog before I started poly. But thereafter, I stopped cause my work course then was all about codes like html, java, SQL! haaa...

At Work
Well, it's been a continuous hectic period since last Nov. Salary revision is a major change in the system and this is undertaken by the team I'm in. We're not serving one Ministry, but Ministries. And just the first month, we hit problems on the CPF. It was reported on the news too. http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/specialreport/news/322068_44/1/.html My Deputy Director and Manager had to report to the management as the top person would report what went wrong. Haa... There's more to come cos there's so much new payments to be made in March and we've started working on it. But because it involves with so much communication and the large change in program (though programming not done by me, it's head enuf to meet up on the requirement spec. haha), it's very taxing. As I'm also the contact point between Ministries (like PSD, MOE etc) and my IT personnels, it can be very exhausting and stressful when all things coming at the same time. But well, I still love my job cos I love to deal with challenges at times, not always pls. I don't like routine jobs nor do I like jobs which require me to "run around". So I thought, this job fits me well enough.. haha..

Easy Weekends

Stayed home over the weekend. Well, I was rather exhausted the week before last cos I was out the whole of Sat and Sun, so decided to take a rest over the weekend to recuperate. Lol. I was busy over the uni applications over that weekend. I actually met up with Aaron and his gf to go there. haha. Surprise surprise right? After that, hang out around at Orchard for awhile before my colleague came.

Luckily my ex-colleague happened to ask me out for dinner, otherwise I would be returning home after Aaron and his gf left. lol. Speaking of dinner, this colleague of mine is a great person to call out for meals. Lol. Cause whenever you run out of ideas to go or going back to that same few places in town to have ya meals, this colleague will definitely think of somewhere that you and I would hardly been before [actually I can't remember off hand, just what i thought at the back of my head]. For instance, there's a restaurant called "The Ship" over at Lido. It's the path from Ralph Lauren Boutique. Walked all the way to the back if I never remember wrongly, you'll find that place. Not those exquisite restaurant, but conducive environment. I ordered this dish which had melted cheese spreaded over the chicken chop, and it tasted great. *slurp* We were only there to grab a quick bite before we rushed for the movie. So remember to drop by that place if you're at Lido. Quite an affordable price. Probably 13~15 bucks per dish. And of course, not to forget the service charge. hehe.

That was the week before last. So for that past 2 days, I wasn't really going to BOOORREEEDDD myself by STAAYYYing home. Sis and her family came over as usual to visit my parents. She wanted to head to the nearby shopping centre to have a quick CNY grab away, and so she drove my bro-in-law's car. The best part is... SHE'S 7 MONTHS PREGNANT! I do vividly remember that my theory book states that pregnant lady should not drive. Haha. But I guess it is not really an offence. It's just a "should-not", not a "must-not" as it's classified with terms like if you're feeling unwell, avoid driving.

Well, just a "short" entry after a long time. Hope I can keep this going =x
